‘Very cool map, but raises a lot of historical questions. As in why does an American or British atlas use a Polish military map of Bulgaria in communist days, not an one one or local one. And also, why does it credit “sluzba topograficzna W.P.”, as in “Wojska Polskiego” so “topographical division (of the Polish Army)” when the the official term back than was the “Ludowe Wojsko Polskie” or LWP, translated as “Polish People’s Army”. Was that a stand against communism to use the old (now current again) acronym.’–JoseMikey
